John R. "Jack" Werley, age 62, passed away on April 27, 2015. He was born on September 1, 1952 to the late Charles and Lucille Werley in Toledo, Ohio.
John was a member of Masonic Lodges located in Perrysburg and Oak Harbor. He was a dedicated member of the Boy Scouts of America for 27 years. John retired in 2013 as a Delivery Tech for the Pharmacy Counter. He attended CedarCreek Church in South Toledo.
John's pride and joy was his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 24 years, Vickie; children, GySgt. Matthew R. (Belinda) Werley, Heather L. (SSG. Michael) Smithers, Daniel T. Smith, Brian D. (Stephanie) Smith; brother, Charles A. (Sheila) Werley and 12 grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
