John A. Polcyn

John Albert Polcyn, age 56, of Toledo, Ohio unexpectedly passed away on August 3, 2019. John was born March 12, 1963 in Alpena, Michigan. John was married to his childhood sweetheart Lori, they were together 38 years and married for 34 years. John was a loving husband and father to his son Jeramey (Erin) Polcyn and grandpa to his two beautiful granddaughters Alana and Breanna, whom he adored. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was known for his sense of humor and funny impressions of the turtle man. He loved watching football with his family, his favorite team was Notre Dame and rooting for the 49ers with his son Jeramey. He loved fishing with his wife Lori by his side and enjoyed metal detecting.

He was survived by his wife Lori, son Jeramey (Erin) Polcyn; granddaughters Alana, Breanna and sister, Michelle Wheeler.

He is preceded in death by his grandma, Irene Doolin, aunt, Kathy Metzger; sister Luanne Cordell and mother Alice Polcyn.

The family will receive friends on Saturday August 10, 2019 from 2 to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel 4150 W. Laskey Road (419-473-0300) with a memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
