John P. Niedbalski

John P. Niedbalski, age 69, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at St. Anne's Mercy Hospital. He was born on October 14, 1944 to Edward and Helen Niedbalski in Toledo. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country proudly. He was employed at Toledo World Industries for 32 years before retiring. John was a longtime member of the Catholic War Vets, American Legion Post #576 and the VFW. He was an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines and loved dartball, golfing and playing cards, especially poker. John loved nothing more than spending time with his granddaughter, Evie. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Niedbalski. John is survived by his loving son, Bryan (Emily) Niedbalski; granddaughter, Evelyn; longtime companion, Felicia Sobczak; nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home with visitation one hour prior.
