John O' Konski

John "Scott" O'Konski, age 48 of Toledo, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 12th, 2011. He was born on October 24th, 1963 to David C. and Patricia J. (Riley) O'Konski. Scott worked at Chrysler Jeep for 24 years and during his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Several considered him a quiet hero due to an act as a good Samaritan when it came to saving a three year old from drowning when he was fishing in 2009. Scott was a D.J. for many social activities for fellow friends and family members. He will be remembered as a kind hearted and very giving person and he will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Patricia J. O'Konski; father, David C. O'Konski; children, Kristen O'Konski, Joshua, Kayle, Cori and Alexandria; granddaughter, Kyah; sister, Debra Driver; brother, David J. O'Konski; grandma, Jean Riley and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.

The family will receive guests Monday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Andrew Edwards III officiating.
