John V. Nowowiejski

John V. Nowowiejski, age 71, of Toledo, OH passed away November 6, 2024 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born November 13, 1952 in Toledo to Harry and Marie (Kempinski) Nowowiejski. 

In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by his sister, Pat Lewandowski and brother, Robert Newman. He is survived by the love of his life of 51 years, Debbie Nowowiejski. They were blessed with four children, John (Jackie) Nowowiejski, Adam (Traci) Nowowiejski, Annie (Justin) Banks and Tabatha (Jay) Weaver; grandchildren, Haley (Joe) Kneebusch, Madison Contact, Johnny Nowowiejski, Colby Nowowiejski, Chloe Deverna, Olivia Contat, Julia Nowowiejski Devin Nowowiejski, Aaron Banks, Kailey Nowowiejski, Thomas Nowowiejski, Mya Nowowiejski, Kole Nicholson, and Cole Weaver. Siblings, Jerry (Nancy) Newman, Barb (Denny) Lump and Mary Ellen (Chuck) Perryman.

A devoted dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. John was a source of unconditional love and support for his family. He was known for his warm smile, generous spirit, making time for those he loved and giving the best hugs. His passion for camping, fishing, grilling on his charcoal grill, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Detroit Tigers and San Francisco 49ers brought joy to many family gatherings. His kids will forever carry on Grandpa’s legendary “Noodles and Eggs”. Our attempts can come close, but there is always that little bit of magic and love missing that makes it extra special.

The family will receive guests Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Sunday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.
