John P. "Johnny" Lorenzen, II, age 38, of Toledo, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2022. He was born on March 19, 1983 to John Sr. and Patricia (Guerrero) Lorenzen in Toledo. He attended Toledo Public Schools. Johnny was a mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. He was a jack of all trades and liked helping others. Johnny had a great smile, sense of humor and would light up any room he walked into. He was a hard worker, liked working on houses and was a hustler; always trying to make a buck. When Johnny was good, he was a dedicated good father, son and brother. He would want you to remember him with a smile.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Juan Jose Ramirez, Jr. and his dear friend, Barry Cox. Left to cherish Johnny's memory are his children, Zach Lorenzen, Johnathan Lorenzen, Bella Lorenzen and Jayden Lorenzen; mother, Patricia Lorenzen; father, John (Kelly) Lorenzen, Sr.; sisters, Shelly (Juan) Ramirez, April (Mario) Vasquez, and Stephanie (Ernie) Lorenzen; brother, Jacob Lorenzen; nieces and nephews, Mikala, Izaak, Leon, Arica, Azaylia, and Marcus; special cousins, Charity (Jay) May, Keith (Vicki) Cantu, and Frankie Cantu; and many other extended family members and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will begin Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Church, 728 S. St. Clair St., Toledo 43609 with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. in church.
