John E. Kettwig

John E. Kettwig, age 69, of Toledo, passed away August 24, 2019 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He was born July 30, 1950 in Gary, Indiana to John and Alva (Frodge) Kettwig. John was employed with Con Agra for more than 22 years. He was a "cruiser" and belonged to the Pacer Car Club. John was an avid Denver Bronco Football fan. He enjoyed building model cars and working in his yard. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his wife, Patricia "Trish" Kettwig; daughters, Tricia (Anthony) Schymanski, Stephanie (Shawn) Czubachowski, Crystal (John Black) Kettwig, Heather (Damian) Ryan and Samantha Helvie; grandchildren, Richard Kettwig, John Black, II, Dale Black, Johnathen Czubachowski, Ethan Czubachowski, Jacob Kettwig, Mia Ryan and Ryan Mackay; brothers, James Page and Darrel Page. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, John Charles Kettwig and brother, Daniel Page.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery, Oregon, Ohio.
