John J. Nagel, age 80 of Toledo passed away Friday morning, October 4, 2002 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. John was born March 14, 1922 to Clarence and Ida (Roux) Nagel in Toledo. He was employed with Norfolk Western Railroad for many years. John was a WWII US Air Force Veteran.
John is survived by his loving wife of 34 years; Ethel (Nottage) Nagel, daughter; Pat Brewer, granddaughter; Lisa Brewer, great granddaughters; Tamika Nicole and Veronica Denise, and dear friend; Joyce Hefflebower.
There will be no visitation. The family will receive guests at a Memorial Service Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery. Officiating will be Fr. Edward Littelmann. Arrangements handled by the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300).
