John Lyle Hadley

John Lyle Hadley, age 66, of Toledo, passed away January 19, 2023 at The Toledo Hospital. John was born October 19, 1956 in Toledo to Eiler Hadley and Donna (Leverenz) Schroeder.

He was a 1975 graduate of Libbey High School. He married the love of his life, Peggy Hardy, on June 21, 1986. In his free time, John enjoyed fishing and playing cards, especially euchre and hand & foot. John was a hard working family man who treasured the time spent with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. This isn't goodbye, it is see ya' later...

Left to forever cherish his memory is his loving wife of 36 years, Peggy; children, Brenda (Jim) Oberhauser, Jason and Justin Hadley; granddaughters, Tatum, Teagan, and Trinity; sister, Betty Cook; nephew, Brent (Sharon) Cook; and sister-in-law, Karen Hadley.

John was preceded in death by his father, Eiler Hadley; mother, Donna Schroeder; step-father, John Schroeder; and brothers, Steven and Donald Hadley.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where a Celebration of Life honoring John will being at 7:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in John's memory.
