John E. Korzeniewski, Sr. died on Sunday, June 7, 2015. John spent the last days of his 89-year life surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty, his sons and daughter, Johnny, Carol (Jon) Chamberlin, Dan (Cathie), Joe (Jeanette) and Eric, and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
John wouldn't want you to spend too much time mourning his death. Isn't it better toremember his life instead, and to reflect upon your own? John believed in a better future; the promise from God found at Psalm 37:29 in the Bible. If you haven't read this, John would have encouraged you to take some time to do so. In fact, he would have suggested that it's good practice to read your Bible daily, and Psalm 37 is a great place to start.
John was preceded in death by his son David, whom he looked forward to seeing again in an earthly paradise in the near future as promised by Jesus Christ at John 5:28.
He will be dearly missed by all of his friends and family. His burial will be private.
