John E. Hall, Sr.

John E. "Jack" Hall, Sr., age 82, of Whitehouse, passed away Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 at Whitehouse Country Manor. He was born November 23rd, 1928 to Emmons and Hazel (Reed) Hall in Delta, Ohio. Jack graduated from Whitehouse High School, class of 1946 and he proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Marine Corps. He married Jean (Thompson) Hall on April 24th, 1954 and she preceded him in death. Jack retired from General Motors after 20 years of service as a Security Officer.

He is survived by his two sons, John (Marilyn) Hall and Jeff (Julie) Hall; grandchildren, Jeramy, Amanda, Brittany, Ryan and Lauren Hall. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Leah Bucher and brother, Stanton Hall.

The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Garden.
