John Crawford, Jr.

John R. Crawford, Jr. age 69, of Toledo, passed away July 6, 2016 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born June 25, 1947 to John and Evelyn Crawford. He served his country in the U.S. Navy Seabees during the Vietnam War. John was employed as a Surveyor with Lewandowski Engineers, Feller, Finch and Associates and most recently as a File Clerk with the Toledo Municipal Clerk of Courts. He loved to travel and enjoyed going to the casino.

John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cathy A. Crawford; daughter, Laura (Patrick Drummond) Crawford; sister-in-law, Jill (Chris Palmer) Barnocki; brothers-in-law, Thomas (Chris) Barnocki and David (Jean) Barnocki; and nephews James (Wendy), Michael (Amanda), Richard and Nicholas; and niece, Leah.

The family will receive guests Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral services will begin Sunday at 2:00 pm. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in John's memory.
