John J Bilek Sr.

John J Bilek age 65, of Maumee, Ohio passed away after a short battle with cancer on, April 22, 2018, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on December 15, 1952 to Albert and Annabelle Bilek in Toledo, OH.
He graduated from Bowsher in 1970 and attended The University of Toledo; he is a Veteran of
United States Armed Forces. He was a very avid boater and past commodore of the Toledo Sailing Club in 2001.
When he wasn't boating you could find him watching his favorite sports.
He retired as Vice President from GB Manufacturing where he worked for over 30 years.
John is survived by his wife, of 15 years, Denise Ehrsam Bilek; Children, JJ (Brandy) Bilek, Tori (Kyle) Vogel,
Ashley (Mike) Graf; Grandchildren, Lainey, Case, Logan, Kyleigh, Ella, Nikolai; Siblings, Al (Carolyn) Bilek,
Chris (Tim) Brandhuber; Aunt Nancy Bilek and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Private family arrangements have been made with Newcomer Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held at the Toledo Sailing Club on
Sunday, May 20, 2018 beginning at 2:00 p.m.
