John Ben Partin

John "Jay" Ben Partin, 73, passed away on February 7, 2015 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Mooresville, NC. He was born June 3, 1941 in Frakes, Kentucky to the late James L. and Cora Partin Shaw.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Don Shaw; sister, Adarene Middleton and son-in-law, Mike Slowinski. Jay is survived by his wife, Carol Bork Partin; daughters, Debbie Slowinski, Beverly Pierce (Lamont) Barbara Heier (John), Diana Brenneman (Mike) and Janet Partin; brothers, Lee Roy, Estle and Daniel Partin; sister, Goldie Browning; step-brothers, Hal and Harlan Shaw; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 1-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
