John A. Stritzel
John A. Stritzel age 67 of Toledo passed away Monday June 9, 2003 in Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. He was born January 24, 1936 to Anthony and Elizabeth Stritzel in Toledo. John was employed with the former Buckeye News Company for over 30 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister; Kathleen Oswald. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years; Elizabeth "Liz" Stritzel, daughters; Terry (Randy) Basham, Kim Braatz and Beth (John) Kunz, sisters; Lucille Norvell, Frances (Charles) Wagner, Wilma (Dave) Pegorsch and Barbara (Edward) Windanka, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Minister Arthur Rios. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
