Joe Hall, Jr.

Joe Hall, Jr., 68 years old, passed away Thursday, January 6th, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital. Joe worked at various companies as a Laborer/Construction worker, including Compte, Doehler Jarvis and finally as a Foreman for Lathrop Construction Company, before retiring due to a sudden illness. Joe was a member of Local #500. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle. Joe had many friends who enjoyed his sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruth Hall; son, Joseph (Valensia) Hall; daughters, Marian (Wesley) Watson; Louvenia (Erroll) Foster and Gail Hall; Aunt Maggie Murchison; brothers, Charlie Hall; Wallace Hall; Willie Fred (Alma) Hall and Bobby Hall; sisters, Gladys Davis; Agnes Foster; Shirley (Edward) Allen and Anne Marie Green; half-brothers, Willie James (Dorothy) Murchison; Edward Murchison and Henry Lee Murchison; half-sister; Frances Murchison; step-sisters, Lessie Mae Perry and Lelia Kelly; step-brother, Walter (Merline) Johnson and a special cousin, Letha M. Muchison; 11 loving grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 11-12:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Talmadge J. Thomas. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
