Joanne Tuck

Joanne Tuck, age 79, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, August 24th, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 15th, 1931 to Roy and Genevieve (Daley) Deitrickson in Toledo. Joanne was a graduate of Whitmer High School Class of 1950. She went on to work as a secretary in several divisions at Dana Corp., retiring after 30 years of service. Joanne enjoyed being outside gardening in her yard. Joanne cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and her favorite canine companion "Willie".

Joanne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years William E. Tuck. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Carol (John) Miller and Susan (Mark) Lotte; grandchildren, Nickolas Miller; Daniel (Renee)Miller; Christina Riggs (her friend, Brian Hensley) and Jennifer (Joshua) Yelverton; great grandchildren, Makayla; Brayden; Emma; Jayce; Olivia; Nathan; and Kyleigh.

A Private Memorial Service for the family will be held at a later date.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the entire staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the compassionate care and support they provided for Joanne and her family at her home.

Carol and Susan would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Christina, Joanne's granddaughter a hospice nurse, for fulfilling her grandmother's wish of providing hospice care during the final stages of her illness.
