Joanne C. Powell

Joanne C. "Jo" Powell, age 47, of McCutchenville, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at University of Toledo Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 3, 1969 to Michael and Patricia (Simon) Powell in Findlay, Ohio. Jo had a heart of gold and loved doing for others. She enjoyed being outdoors, taking walks with her dog and rescuing dogs in need. Jo will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jo is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Ted Ekleberry; mom, Pat (Fred) Arnold; dad, Michael Powell; twin sister, Jessica (Christian) Powell; sister, Jenny Powell; step-brother, Rod Arnold; canine companion, Jordyn; maternal grandmother, Mary Simon; and nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanie Robeson and grandparents, Harold and Ruth Powell and Leo Simon.

A Celebration of Life to honor Jo will be held Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, 4699 Co. Rd. 236. Findlay, Ohio 45840. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
