Joanne L. Phillips

Joanne Louise Phillips 65 of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024. She was born on April 7,1959 to Homer J and Virginia Porter.

She loved the Lord and her family. Nobody was a stranger to Joanne, she talked and made new friends constantly. She enjoyed doing crafts and baking. In her younger years she was the head coach for the Colts cheerleaders, she took first place in many competitions, she loved them as her own. Over the years Joanne touched many lives. She has a group of best friends that all have stayed in touch for over 50 years.

Joanne was proceeded in death by her mother and father, her husband John G Phillips Jr and her nephew Roger "Peewee" Porter.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Brandi Soja, Christie (Danny) Fleming , Timothy (Paige) Netry. Grandchildren Kaysee (Cordelle) Adkins , Riley Thompson, Jason (Kayla) Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Tristan Gaston, Jayden Netry. Great grandchildren Keegan, Gracie and London. Joanne is also survived by her sister Linda (Stan) Aiken, brother Roger Porter. Nephews Brian, Stan nieces Mindy and Sadie and a special cousin Angel (Carl) Beaty. Joanne was loved by so many and will be truly missed.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Visions Ministries at1630 Broadway St, Toledo, OH 43609
