Joanne M. Pfaff, age 84, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Flower Hospital.
She was born on May 12, 1927 to Edmond and Cecil (Montgomery) Stone in Toledo. Joanne worked as a waitress and bar maid until retiring. She was a very strong willed, feisty woman and was an Elvis fanatic. Joanne loved her animals and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pfaff and brother, Edmond Stone. Joanne is survived by her loving sister, Phyllis (Edward) Lorigan; sister-in-law, Barbara Stone; niece, Jacquelyn (Charles) Semelka; canine companion, Maggie; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or services for Joanne per her request. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
The family would like to give a special thank you to everyone at Sylvania Care and Rehab for all of their loving care and support given to Joanne and her family through this difficult time.
