Joanne U. Long

Joanne U. Long, age 85, of Toledo, passed away October 3, 2020 at home. She was born July 7, 1935 in Toledo to Lawrence and Neva (Fife) Dudley. Joanne was employed with the Toledo Public Schools for more than 27 years retiring in 2003 as a Paraprofessional. She enjoyed coloring and her cats, "Simon" and "Cali." Joanne loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Long. She is survived by her children, Bob (Linda) Long, George Long, Rene Long, Greg Long, Rick Long, Joann Long and Rex Long; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Friday, October 9, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
