Joanne M. Kaseman

Joanne M. Kaseman, age 85, of Lambertville, MI, passed away peacefully Christmas Day surrounded by loving family. She was born on May 10, 1937 to Daniel and Clara Perzynski in Toledo, Ohio. Joanne was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where she volunteered for many years; including the fish fry's, the school library, and funeral luncheons to name a few. Joanne was also a longtime election worker. For many years, Joanne and her family vacationed at their cottage in Matteson Lake, MI.

Joanne loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and hosting holiday get-togethers. She loved nothing more than having all her family in one place. Joanne also enjoyed gardening, baking, traveling, taking long walks and participating in Silver Sneakers Yoga at the YMCA in Temperance, MI.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel "Baby Daniel" Perzynski. Left to cherish Joanne's memory are her loving husband of 66 years, Chuck Kaseman; sons, Chuck (Mary Jo) Kaseman, Dan (Sue) Kaseman and Mike (Tammy) Kaseman; grandchildren, Sharon Kaseman, Charlie (Natasha) Kaseman, Danny (Alyssa) Kaseman, Jennifer (Josh) Godlewski, Andrew (Molly) Kaseman, Eric (Kim) Kaseman, Shelby Kaseman, and Mackenzie Kaseman; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Gigi) Perzynski; many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will begin Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2240 Castlewood Dr., Toledo, OH 43613 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in church.
