Joanne E.M. Terry

Joanne found her way to Heaven at the age of 85 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was given to us on October 30, 1928 in Toledo, OH to Edward and Edna Krueger. She married the love of her life Henry Alva Terry, Sr. on January 11, 1947 in Monroe, MI. Granny worked as a PARA Professional Teacher Aide for Toledo Public Schools at Fulton School for 27 years.

She enjoyed going to church, had a great passion for Cardinals and spending time with her grandchildren. Granny was a member of Calvary Bible Chapel and loved it dearly.

Left to cherish her memory is her sons, Henry (Diane) Terry, Jr. of Southbend, IN, John (Kathy) Terry of Toledo, Matthew (Dana) Terry of Dunbar WV; daughters, Joanne Norton, Deborah (Reggie) McGraw and Rosa (Terry) Dickey all of Toledo; grandchildren, Henry (April) Terry, III, Merideth (Joseph) Fecteau, Christopher Bradley (Angela) Terry, Rebecca Cooley, Kathy (Stacy) Wright, Karen Janowiecki, Naomi and Jedidiah McGraw, Jackie (Aaron) Stoldt, Jonathan (Melissa) Terry, Chastity Starr, Jessica Meador, Christopher Mychael (MeLisa) Terry, Chelsea and Cody Dickey; great-grandchildren, Zackary and Haley Terry, Peyton, Samantha and Alexis Fecteau, Audrey and Christopher Bradley Terry, Jr., Paul and Bonnie Passerello, Sara (Dave) Norton, Shelby (Lee) Norton, Shauna (Tony) Cooley, Brianna, David and Hailee Wright, Sophia and Stephanie Bernal, Benjamin (Dani) Botzko, Paige (Dwayne) Falk, Jacob Janowiecki, Peyton, Alexis and Lucas Stoldt, Cadin and Chase Terry and Emma Meador; great-great-grandchildren, Kenzi, Olivia and Karsyn Pacholski, Emmalynn Roman, Carter Wright, Paisley Shy, Kurt Botzko and Logan Kies; siblings, Robert Krueger, James (Lenore) Krueger, Shirley Kitchen and Marilyn Ball; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alva Terry; sister, Bernice Cluff; brothers, Edward and Charles Krueger.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Bible Chapel, 3740 W. Alexis Rd. There will be visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

The family would like to specially thank Dr. Kelly Emch and the nurses and staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the diligent care and love they provided to Joanne.
