Joanne B. Bast

Joanne B. Bast, age 81, of Toledo, passed away July 5, 2018 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center. Joanne was born January 4, 1937 in Davis, WV to Clyde and Evelyn (Roy) Roush. She was employed as a tutor with the University of Toledo for 10 years retiring in 2001. She was an avid reader especially fond of books about the Queens of England; her favorite being Anne Boleyn.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelley J. (Noe) Posas, brothers, Ronald (Charlotte) Roush, David (Jennifer)Roush, sister-in-law, Janice Roush, grandson, Nathan (Alexia) Hejnicki and granddaughter, Hannah Posas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Allan Roush and several aunts and uncles.

The family will receive guests Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 2 to 8:00 p.m., Newcomer - NW Chapel 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home followed by burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park..
