Joann Wright

Joann (Petree) Wright, age 73, of Toledo, passed away December 11, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Joann was born March 15, 1944 in Monroe to Roma and Katherine (Troxell) Petree. She was a nurse for 15 years having worked at Frenchtown Nursing Center before her retirement. Joann enjoyed writing poetry, reading her Bible, taking nature walks, spending time with her grandchildren and friends on Facebook.

She is survived by her daughters, Dana (Raymond) McElwain, Danise Love, and Valentina "Shelly" Love; siblings, Rev. Johnny Petree, Brenda Clark, and Carolyn Freismuth; grandchildren, Travis, Nathan, Jacob, Angel and Summer; great granddaughter, Riley.

The family will receive guests Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home followed by burial at Woodland Cemetery, Monroe.
