Joann Robinson

Joann Ruth "Robbie" Robinson, age 83, of Holland, passed away peacefully into God's open arms at Spring Meadows Nursing Facility in Holland, on November 26, 2013. She was an employee of U.T.M.C. for over 35 years as an LPN surgical nurse. She resided in Spring Meadows Nursing Facility since 2006 where her nurturing spirit had touched many lives and hearts. While a resident of Spring Meadows she won many trophies in trivia.

She is survived by her loving children, Steven, Geraldine Meyer (the late Ernie), Douglas, Judith, Jennifer and Laura; cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, William, Patti Jo and Dixie Marie; great-grandchildren, Travis and Damian, also survived by her extended family at Spring Meadows. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 wonderful years, Elmo and her grandson, Joseph.

The family will receive guests Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 2:00 -8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin, Monday, December 2,10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family would like to especially thank the staff at Spring Meadows Nursing Facility for the wonderful care she received while residing there.
