Joann Kennerly

JoAnn Kennerly, age 78, of Toledo OH, passed away peacefully Sunday October 8th, 2023 in hospice of northwest OH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo on February 2nd 1945, to Edward and Victoria (Szymanski) Nowicki. JoAnn grew up in Point Place and attended Central Catholic, where she graduated in 1963. She worked at various jobs but was mainly a stay at home mom. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, crossword puzzles and loved going shopping. A loving mother, grandmother great grandmother, sister and friend. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and dear cat Sam. She will be greatly missed by her children Michelle (Herb) Kennerly, Jennifer Parker, Cindy (Chad) Bugbee, and Amy (Jerry) Kennerly. Grandchildren Gage, Joshua, Autumn, Brittany (Kevin), Dallas, Cheyenne, and Nathaniel. And her great grandchildren Braxton, Victoria Rose, Zelda, Chloe, Aerith. Sister Barbara brother Jerry nieces and nephews. JoAnn will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.

JoAnn's funeral will take place the following day, Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.
