Joan M. Smalley, age 87, of Springfield Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania with her loving husband by her side. She was born on June 13, 1929 to Gerald and Stella (Ryback) Farbrother in Toledo. Joan married the love of her life, Raymond W. Smalley on July 29, 1950 in Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral. Most important to Joan was her family and taking care of her home.
Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 66 years, Raymond W. Smalley; brother, Daniel (Deborah) Farbrother and many nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be no services.
Joan's family would like to specially thank the nurses and staff at Ebeid Hospice for taking such good care of her in her last days.
