Joan Myers, 78, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2012. She was born on May 6, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio.

Joan enjoyed reading Adventure/Crime and Romance Novels. She looked forward to playing pinochle at holiday gatherings with the family as well as her card club group. Joan was an active member of St. Petri Lutheran Church.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; father, John Luce and sister, Betty Timbrook. She is survived by her son, John (Ann); mother, Ethel; brother, William (Maralee); grandchildren, Kenneth, Georgia and Steven; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her dog, Madison.

The family will receive guests from 2-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). There will be visitation from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Petri Lutheran Church, 3120 S. Byrne Rd., Toledo. Funeral Services will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Toledo Humane Society or St. Petri Lutheran Church.
