Joan McClain

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joan McClain, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who peacefully departed this life on September 7, 2024 at the age of 74.

Joan's life was one of unwavering love and devotion to her family. She was the cherished mother of Brent (Jennifer) McClain and Stephanie (Justin) Eccleston, the proud grandmother of Victoria McClain, Connor McClain and Chase Eccleston, the adored great-grandmother of Ayla Grace Reaster (Victoria McClain and Garrett Reaster) and the loving sister of Karen Gribble. She was preceded in death by her husband Doug. Her legacy of kindness, warmth, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Joan's family was the center of her world, and she took great joy in nurturing and supporting each generation. She will be remembered for her boundless love, her wisdom, and the many cherished moments she created in their lives.

She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to watch over her family in all that they do.

At the request of Joan, there will be no memorial service. She did request that people donate to a cause that's personal to them as a way to celebrate her life.
