Joan M. Ray

Joan M. Ray, age 84, of Toledo, passed away December 17, 2015 at her home. She was born October 6, 1931 in Toledo to Frank and Dora (Jeycza) Bielawski. Joan loved spending her free time with family and many close friends, Harry and Deb; John and Vicki; Ben and Sally; the Rossler Family and the Gorski Family at their cottage at Bear Lake in Hillsdale, Michigan.

Joan is survived by her children, Richard (Debbie) Ray; Carol (Jack) Bartelheim; Bill (Mary) Ray and Joe Ray; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and sister, Rosemary Gabriel. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Richard and son, Larry.

Special thank you to Joan's longtime neighbors and best friends, Mike, Terry, Donna, Aunt Rose, Wendy and Hospice for taking care of Joan in the last days she was with us.

A Memorial Mass was held Monday, December 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 4227 Bellevue Road Toledo, Ohio.
