Joan M. Kourkouliotis, of Whitehouse, was called home to her heavenly father on January 4, 2013 at the age of 74. Joan was born August 11, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to Claude and Margie (Darah) Gootee. She had a love for art, opera and trips to the beach.
In addition to her parents Claude and Margie, Joan was preceded in death by her son, Dimitrios Kourkouliotis. She is survived by her brothers, Michael Gootee and Mark (Laura) Gootee and her children, Norman (Kim) Briney, Sean Briney, Kathleen Briney-Heisler and Claudia (Tony) Gootee-Rankin. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
