Joan L. Dille

Joan L. (Heilman) Dille, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 29, 2012. She was born on July 5, 1939 to Clarence and Emma Heilman in Northwood, Ohio. Joan worked at Sharon Manufacturing and later retired from Toledo Hospital in 2001. She and her husband Tom, moved to Safety Harbor, FL after retirement and moved back to Toledo in 2007. Joan enjoyed going to church festivals, polka dancing, and the Cincinnati Reds. Most important was her family; she often put their needs before her own and they truly meant the world to her. Her potato salad, baked beans, deviled eggs, stew, goulash and many other dishes were one-of-a-kind. She was always there to help and no one could clean windows like her!

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 52 years, Tom; children, Tom (Karen) of Maumee, Connie (Don) Reeder of Okemos, MI., Robin (Guy) Ramm of Toledo and Barbara Dille of Cincinnati; grandchildren, John and Matt Dille, Ashlee Reeder, Drew and Seth Ramm; siblings, Alice Heckathorn, Jackie DePew and Dick Heilman; sisters-in-law, Betty Heilman, Dolores Heilman and Kay Heilman.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Gertrude; brothers, Clarence "Junior" and Bob Heilman.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that Joan recently accepted Christ as her Savior.

The family will receive guests on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 8:00 p.m.
