Jim Schlagheck, special child of God, passed away at home on September 8, 2014 surrounded by his loving family and listening to the Beatles. He was born January 6, 1945 in Toledo to Chuck and Josie who preceded him in death. He enjoyed going to Toledo Speedway, loved having a beer on Friday nights, vacationing at Devil's Lake, bumper cars, listening to his music especially the Beach Boys and the Beatles, watching movies, and playing his drums, but most of all Jim loved his family.
He is survived by his brother Rich "Ditchie" (Deb) Schlagheck, sister Jan Schlagheck, nieces Sheri Misson and Traci VanAdisson, great nieces Samantha Jo Misson and Morgan VanAdisson, and great nephew Tyler Misson.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at ProMedica Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Jim.
