James R. DeNeve
Jim DeNeve, age 62, of Toledo, passed away Monday, September 11, 2006 in Monroe Michigan. He was born June 14, 1944 to Joe and LaVerne (Patzer) DeNeve in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Jim was employed with the City of Toledo for 30 years, retiring in 1997. He loved the outdoors, spending time camping and fishing. Jim was also an avid Nascar fan. Jim cherished the time he spent with family and they will miss him deeply.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Pat Crabtree and Helen DeNeve. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda Jo (Stager) DeNeve; sons, Robert (Shonda) and Thomas (Cheryl) DeNeve; daughter, Sarah (Sonny) Spencer; grandchildren, Justin; Spencer; Kyle and Matthew DeNeve and Weltha Spencer; brother, Ronald (Pat) DeNeve of Sault St. Marie, MI; sister, Terry (John) Marsh of Salt Lake City, UT and many dear friends.
The family will receive guests Friday from 2-7:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 p.m.
