Jetta Lea Grant

Jetta Lea Grant, 87, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on October 31, 2024 at Otterbein Monclova. She was born on April 5, 1937 to Flain and Alpha (Bowling) Ratliff at Pikeville, KY. Jetta loved to cook, her passion led her to work as a Dietary Supervisor for St Vincent Hospital. In her down time, she enjoyed being outside in her garden.

Jetta is survived by her loving daughter, Teresa (Mark) Marzec, son, James Grant, grandchild, Nicholas Marzec, Duane Takats, Natalie (Lee) Prather, Julia (Brian) Bolander, Craig (Christie) Takats, Tiffany (Shane) Byrd, Phillip (Kimberly) Gettum, Courtny (Mike) Clark, Kelsey Lyons, William (Stacia) Clark, Erika (Brett) Kovel, and 17 loving great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Flain Ratliff, mother, Alpha Ratliff, daughter, Deborah (Timothy) Clark, sisters, Georgia (Roy) Dempsey, Etta Sue (Gene) Moore, grandson-in-law, Brandon Lyons.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio, 43614. Funeral services will be private. Jetta will be laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio. Memorials donations in Jetta's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Family extends a huge Thank you to the nurses and especially the aides at house 5069 at Otterbein for their care and compassion.
