Jesus Rodriguez, age 82, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday March 16, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He retired from Jeep, after 47 years, in 1996. Jesus enjoyed fishing and playing pool. He was a devoted husband and father and grandfather. Jesus married Jesusa Davila September 24, 1954 in Swanton, Ohio.
Jesus is survived by his children, Maria (Junior) Mitchell and Terrie (Ronald) Mitchell both of Whitehouse, Ohio, Veronica (Ken) Foreman and Joseph Rodriguez, both of Toledo, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Jesus was preceded in death by his wife, Jesusa Rodriguez; sons, Jesus M. Rodriguez, Jr and Martin Rodriguez; and grandchildren, Daniel and Monica Rodriguez.
The family will receive guests Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10:00 am. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Willow Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Foundation in Jesus' memory.
