Jennifer Lee (Stuart) Izsak, age 71, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully March 28, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. She was born July 17, 1952, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Gerald and Dorthy Lee (Ketcham) Stuart.
Jennifer attended Castle High School in Newburgh, Indiana, where she graduated in 1970. Following high school, she continued her education at Indiana University, where she met her husband, and graduated in 1975, with a Master's in Speech and Language Pathology.
Jennifer's joy in life was being a wife, mother, and grandmother; her grandchildren, who would refer to her as Bubby, meant the world to her! She valued and treasured her family and friendships and loved hard and thoroughly. She had a big heart and would do anything for anyone! Jennifer was the best Bubby and her smile and love will forever be missed by those who knew her.
Jennifer went through life loving her friends and family… "but sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored they got out for a stroll through my mouth; this is rarely a good thing."
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband, Eugene "Gene" Izsak, whom she married on August 10, 1975; two children, Gabe (Kelly) Izsak and Jordi (Wayne) Crooks; grandchildren, Emmett and Wynnie Izsak and Sydney Crooks; and a brother, Milton (Marla) Stuart.
In addition to her parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by a sister, Gretchen Hale.
Private family services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Planned Parenthood and/or made as memorial gifts to the ProMedica Ebeid Children's Hospital Foundation, Attn: Jennifer Izsak ECH Pediatric Emergency Department, 100 Madison Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43606.
