Jeffrey Scott Nickens

Jeffrey Scott Nickens, age 35, of Toledo, passed away suddenly Friday, July 7, 2006. He was born on December 16, 1970 to Robert and Carol (Lovitt) Nickens in Toledo. Jeff was an engineer with the NFS Railroad since 1998. He collected DVD's, loved computers and animals. Jeff was a good handyman, always fixing something and enjoying it. He also had a strong passion for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He will be deeply missed by his wife and family.

Jeff is survived by his loving family, wife: Aimee (Benoit) Nickens; dog: Bandit; parents: Robert (Carol) Nickens; sisters: Linda (Larry) Phillips, Kimberly (Scott) Kahn, Shelly (Scott) Ricker and Robbin (Herman) Burmeister; 11 nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law: Joe (Monica) Benoit; brother-in-law: Joe Benoit; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
