Jeffrey Marshall, age 60, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at his home. He was born on November 5, 1960, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Herbert and Phyllis (Berbeck) Marshall.
Jeffrey graduated from Whitmer High School and had worked at Nordman Roofing for over 40 years. He was a member of the Roofers Union, local 134, where he was on the negotiation committee, apprenticeship committee, LMCC management committee, and recording secretary on the board. He was also a trustee for the United Building Trades Group, where he was on the election board. Jeffrey had a wild sense of humor; his favorite holiday was Halloween, where he would enjoy scaring children. He loved to cook, especially on the grill, and was known for his delicious BBQ sauce. Jeffrey was an avid hunter and biker. Every Wednesday he would go to Daffy's Bar and Grill, his favorite watering hole. Jeffrey's funny personality, laughs, and care will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are the love of his life, Shelly Marshall, whom he married on November 17, 1985; two children, Trisha Vaeyens and Joshua Marshall; grandchildren, Julia Marshall, Alayna Vaeyens and Michael Smith; and one brother, Mark Marshall.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Phyllis Marshall.
