Jeffrey (Jeff) Killion of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025 while under Hospice care.

Jeff was born on November 23, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio. He was a 1974 graduate of Whitmer High School. Jeff worked as an electrician in a variety of places, most recently Hollywood Casino where he retired in 2022.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Jan, daughter Heather (Jason) Slagle; son Justin (Kate) Killion; grandchildren Jacob and Ben Slagle and Rory Killion; brother Michael (Joanne) Killion; niece Michelle Sponseller; nephew Michael Sponseller; sister-in-law Betsy Killion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Iona and Robert Killion; brother Robert Killion; nephews Michael Killion and Mitchell Sponseller.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 11am to 2pm with a service at 2 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo. Interment will be private. The family wishes to thank the nurses and aides from Lakes of Monclova and the Hospice nurses. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Jeff’s memory.
