Jeffrey Douglas "Jeff" Fought

Jeffrey Douglas Fought, age 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away May 24, 2024 at Arbors of Sylvania. Jeff was born September 5, 1956, in Toledo, to Dennis Fought and Martha (Erney) Blake.

Jeff attended Sylvania High School. He joined the Army in 1974 and had spent 24 long and dedicated years in the military. During his time in the military, he received his GED. He continued his education at the University of Toledo, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Engineering.

Jeff enjoyed fishing, watching Pro Wrestling, listening to rock and oldies music, but most of all, spending time with his family. His three favorite kids in his life were Aubrie, Alicia, and Michael; he was very proud of them and enjoyed watching them grow up.

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving parents, Dennis Fought and Martha Blake; brothers, Greg Fought and Mike (Kim) Fought, Ken; sister, Connie Fought; nieces and nephew, Zachary, Vanessa, Brittany, Rachael, and Kaylee; great nieces and nephews, Aubrie, Alicia, Michael, and Ashten; and his furry companions, Scrappy and Turd.

Family and friends may gather at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral service beginning at 7:00 pm. Jeff will be laid to rest at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local Veterans Administration.
