Jeffrey L. Boone, age 67, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 20, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, to Jack and Robbie (Masterson) Boone.
After graduating from DeVilbiss High School, he continued his education in carpentry. Jeffrey had worked at Rudolph Libbe as a Superintendent for 30 plus years and was a member of the Local 351 in Rossford. One of his favorite things he enjoyed doing was taking trips to the Florida Keys, where he would go fishing. Most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them life lessons is something that will forever be cherished; he loved and adored his grandchildren, they were very special to him. An amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, Jeffrey will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, his "Queenie", Camilla (O'Brien) Boone, whom he married on October 18, 1991; daughter, Calla; his father and mother, Jack and Robbie Boone; two sisters, Penny (John) Bulgarella and Tammy Shaw; grandsons, Casey, Jacob, and Evan; granddaughter, McKenna; mother-in-law, Wanda O'Brien; sisters-in-law, Renee O'Brien Wyse and Cathy (Dave) Beck; brothers-in-law, David (Tammi) O'Brien and Keith (Jeri) O'Brien; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of lifelong friends. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Russell O'Brien and brother-in-law, Kevin O'Brien.
The family would like to express a sincere heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ratnam, Dr. Kaw, nurses Erika, Nikki, and Leslie, and the rest of DaVita Southland Dialysis, for their care, comfort, and compassion they provided to Jeffrey and the entire family during this time.
Family and friends may gather at the Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614 (419-381-1900) on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tom Fraser officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to DaVita Southland Dialysis in Toledo.
