Jeffery J. Reason

Jeffrey John Reason (68) passed away peacefully in his own home surrounded by his son and daughter on February 2, 2024.

Born on October 22,1955, Galveston, Texas, to John and Joan Reason. As a baby, Jeff and his parents moved to Sylvania, Ohio, where he happily lived his childhood. After moving around, Jeff thought it was time to settle down with his family and lived his last 37 years in Maumee, Ohio.

Jeff was always a hard worker. He worked many jobs to help provide for his family. Until he landed a job at E and L Transportation Company hauling cars. He worked there many years until he was forced to leave after an unforeseen accident.

Jeff was a caring and selfless man. He was loved by many as he was always helping others. He made many friends during his lifetime, spending time with them and having fun. While also knowing the importance of family time, and always spending time with them as well.

Preceded in death, his parents John and Joan Reason. Surviving son Jacob Reason, daughter Holly Reason (Chickie), granddaughter Emma Jo Reason (Emma Girl), his brother Jay Reason (Sonia), niece Joy Reason, Uncle Claire Reason (Janice), Cousin Casey (and boys). And much more family that may not be blood, but by heart.

Jeff will be dearly missed by many family and friends.
