Jeffery M. "Jeff" Lindley

Jeffery “Jeff” M. Lindley, age 74, of Holland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 19, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, to George and Lucille (Cook) Lindley. Jeff was a 1968 Woodward High School graduate and later went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in business from The University of Toledo. After college, he spent time working at the railroad, an independent courier, hobbyist, and later retired from The University of Toledo Medical Center where he spent many years. 

 In 1968 Jeff met the love of his life, Bonnie (Blevins). Then, in September of 1969, the two joined in marriage and began a lifelong journey together raising 5 children. His life was characterized by collecting vinyl records, taking beach vacations, spending time outdoors planting flowers, hanging out with the grandkids, and you could always find him somewhere watching the Detroit Lions on game days. In addition to his hobbies, Jeff also had a hidden talent of effortlessly solving math equations in his head, and was also very good at speaking in the voice of Disney’s Donald Duck (to which the grandkids smiled everytime). 

 Jeff is preceded in death by his mother Lucille, father George, brother Chuck, and stepmother Louise. He is survived by his lifetime love and companion, Bonnie(Blevins) Lindley; Siblings, Beverly Lindley, and Patricia (Tom) McCrae; Children, Jeffery Lindley Jr., Ritchie (Donna) Lindley, Terrance (Rosemary) Lindley, Ashley (Ryan) Villhauer, and Britain (Larissa) Lindley; Grandchildren, Hailee, Britain II, Elizabeth, London, Lincoln, Ashton and Leah; Great-grandson, Wesley; As well as 2 nephews, 3 nieces and others who loved him dearly. 

 At this time, there will be no services held, but we look forward to seeing family and friends honor Jeff’s memory at a celebration of life in the warmer months.
