Jeffery L. Staton

Jeffery L. Staton, age 49, of Toledo, went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 20th, 2009 at the age of 49 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born May 20th, 1960 to Lewis and Euliala in Toledo. Jeff was an avid fisherman enjoying time spent on his boat. Most importantly cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memories son, Jeffery (Cynthia) and daughters, Jeanette and Samantha; sisters, Judy Fields; Tina Shields and Jenny (Rick) Miller; brothers, Tim (Jole) and John (Cindy); grandchildren, Alyssa; Amber and Ethan and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend, Lea.

The family will receive guests Saturday from 3-8:00 p.m. and Sunday 2-8:00 p.m.at Newcomer funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Josh Plaisance. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
