Jeffery James Howard, age 54, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly November 1, 2022 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Jeffery was born July 24, 1968 in Toledo to John and Agnes (Cannon) Howard. He played saxophone in the Marching Band at Pike Delta York High School. Jeffery was employed 36 years in the food industry with 11 years at the former El Matador Restaurant, and the last 20 years at TGI Friday's Restuarant. He loved to travel with partner, Joe especially on cruises. Jeffery loved his "fur babies" playing with them, taking them for walks and car rides.

In addition to his parents, Jeffery was also preceded in death by his sister, Judy Travelbee . He is survived by his partner of 31 years, Joe Wallace Lawecki; siblings, Maryann (Robert) Evans, Richard (Nancy) Howard and Patrick (Susie) Howard; many nieces, nephews and friends and canine companions, "Gunner" and "Chance."

The family will receive guests Friday, November 11, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). A Sharing of Memories to celebrate Jeffery's life will be held Friday at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association in Jeffery's memory.
