Jeffrey Allen Delano, age 47, passed away on March 29, 2016. He was born on October 8, 1968 in Wichita, Kansas, and raised in Texas, Michigan, Florida and Ohio.
Jeff loved spending time outdoors; he enjoyed fishing, boating and golfing. He also enjoyed restoring and working on motorcycles and cars as well as home improvement projects. He enjoyed motorcycle rides with his family and friends and also cross-country exploration trips in his car to visit friends and family. Jeff was an accomplished welder for many years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Toledo. Jeff was baptized in the Episcopal Church at the age of 10 and affirmed his faith and trust in God during his life. His family and friends will remember him as a warm and earnest personality who always had time to help and gave generously of his time.
Left to cherish Jeff's memory are his parents, Betty "Bee Jay" Thornton of Mt. Dora, Florida and Gary (Carm) Delano of Aptos, California; step-father, William Eady of Toledo, Ohio; sister, Jennifer (Joshua) Shultz of Hillsdale, Michigan; step-brother, Byron Finney of Santa Cruz, California; beloved niece and nephew, Marissa Delano and Matthew Shultz.
According to Jeff's wishes, private family services were held to celebrate his life.
