Jeannette M. Krolak

Jeannette M. Krolak, age 62, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, November 1, 2021 at Lakes of Sylvania. She was born on March 9, 1959 to James and Virginia (Fleitz) Smith in Toledo. Jeannette was a 1977 graduate of Whitmer High School. She was a waitress for many years at Al Smith's Place, something she was proud of and made many friends. Jeannette was strong in her Christian Faith being a member of Mayfair Plymouth Church for many years. She was an avid gardener, loved baking and cooking. Jeannette had a love for all animals, especially dogs. Jeannette enjoyed boating, being on the water and fishing. She was very generous and known as mom to many. Jeannette would always help anyone in need. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family; most importantly her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Jeannette's smile, strength, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 38 years, Mike Krolak; children, Randi Jo (Tim) Langenderfer, Michael (Heather) Krolak, Mitchell (Kelli) Krolak, Louie Krolak; grandchildren, Ellie, Ava, Elliot, Tatum, and Cooper; siblings who knew her as "Nettie", Diane McGuire, Karen Peterson, Bob (Mary) Smith, and Jamie (Terry) Maurer; aunt, Carol "Cookie" Fleitz; fur baby, Barf; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive guests on Friday, November, 5, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo (419-392-9500) with Funeral Services beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Susan her home health aide and Susan her visiting nurse for all of their love, care and support given to Jeannette and our family throughout this difficult time.
