Jeannette Davis

Jeannette Davis, known as June, departed her life January 07, 2023 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was born October 24 1953 to the late Rayford Sr. and Eva Baynes-Hicks. Jeannette graduated from Libbey High School in 1973. She worked various jobs including MCO, St. Vincent, and was the owner operator of EZ Clean SRT with her best friend and husband. June loved her family, hosting card parties, cooking and taking care of others. June had a green thumb, she could grow anything, enjoyed working in her flower garden, cooking, cleaning. June had a smile that would light up any room, heart of gold, and never met a stranger. Jeannette was married to the love of her life Ronnie Davis Sr. for 44 years.

Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Davis Sr.; children, Pamela Jackson, Donnell Scissom, Ronnie (Collette) Davis, Niesha (Keith Blount) Davis, Lamar (Latosha) Davis; grandchildren, Sharica Payne, Yolajahadi , Carmeron, Najae, Ronnie III, Ronae, Rayven, Chase, Caily, King Ronnie; great-grandchildren Kenndy, and Kenzeilgh Pickens. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Keanon Blount.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral- Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo (419-473-0300). Remarks will be made on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral on Friday will be less than an hour. The family recommends attending both services, but if you can only attend one, please come Thursday. Repass will follow the funeral on Friday.
